It’s been this way

Women have prophesied
women have prayed
women have
labored,
and cried all
day.
Women have
dreamed,
women have
screamed.
Jesus loved
women
with a love
that was clean.
If you followed
him
like you say
you do
maybe you would
love women
better than you
do.
Maybe you would
not fear
when they talk
to you.
